![]() The book is a compilation of his favorite stories from presidential campaign history. I received Whistlestop by John Dickerson, CBS host of Face the Nation, for Christmas and just finished it. In the summer I would read this in three days rather than three months but regardless, it was an outstanding read. However, this blog entry will serve as proof. No cameras were rolling at 3:20 PM on Mawhen I actually finished a book. This is a massive accomplishment that I finished a book during the school year. **Note: This is my first book review so go easy on me. ![]() It’s very readable but also is thoroughly researched. Whistlestop is a great ready for anyone who has a casual interest in learning the great stories behind our elections. I’d like to change that and make this a thing. I will make notes in the margins but once it’s done it’s on the shelf.
